Blog about the research and iterative design process for the data visualisation in this project:

Visualising data: the case for iteration

UX Research & Design

Analysis and design for the for the Barclays Agency Lending business unit.

Worked in fully Agile process on a greenfields project from initiation to final production phases. My role involved gaining a thorough understanding of the securities lending market and the motivations of the client's end users in order to produce informed designs that would enable the end users to quickly perform their tasks.

Personas were developed in order to structure our thinking about the types of users we would aim an MVP product at to produce the most value for the client. Several rounds of interviews and testing were done in order to iterate and refine the design.

The goal of the site was to allow clients to view the performance of their assets at a quick glance and so data visualisation formed a large component of the site.

The project was delivered on time and within budget and the client was very happy with the result.
