UX Research & Design

Analysis and design for the comparison arm of Experian site (credit cards, loans and mortgages)

Responsible for in-house research; methods used included tree testing, remote user testing, competitor benchmarking, finding trends in Google analytics and heatmaps in Sessioncam and producing designs for A/B testing. Analysis was used to build hypothesis to test further with external research agencies, if appropriate. I put together prototypes in Axure or other prototyping software for the purpose of user testing, as a discussion point with stakeholders and as part of the deliverables for specifying designs to dev teams.

Experian

Competitor benchmarking piece

Produced prototypes representing what competitors were doing in the same space and then used remote user testing with a large number of remote users to get a hybrid of qual and quant findings.

Initial results were very conclusive, so recommendations were made and a few design treatments were put into A/B testing, backing up findings from the remote testing.

Another breakpoint recommeded after analysis of statistics

My last project was producing evidence to show that an extra breakpoint was needed in the html/css code base for a midsize screen by tringulating several GA stats with Sessioncam heatmaps to show engagement was sub-optimal for certain screensizes.
